The Dwarf Satsuma is a popular variety of Blood Plum. It is a medium chill plum that is well known for its medium sized, round blood red flesh, delicious fruit, which ripens in January to February. Fruit is sweet and juicy with a dark red skin and has a cling stone with excellent cropping for inland and coastal areas. Cross pollination is required from Santa Rosa or Mariposa plums. Ideal for eating fresh, stewing, preserving or making jam.
