NEW - DWARF SELF POLLINATING ALMOND
Not recommended for coastal QLD and NSW climates as the winters are not cold enough to set fruit.Climates are also generally to wet.
It has large, broad, paper shelled kernels and ripens mid season. Nuts have a good sweet flavour and are relatively versatile with their uses. This variety can be stored in the shell for months. Once almonds are shelled store them in an air tight container. A low maintenance, open canopy tree, with large, white/pink flowers in the Spring, ideal for confined spaces because of its dwarfing tree size. Harvest nuts just as the shell starts to split open.
Plant them in a tub or a large pot for easy gardening. Not to mention a guarantee the kids will love them! Available from WA, SA, VIC and selected stockists in NSW and the plantnet online shop.
Trees will grow to a height of 1.5m-2.0m and a width of 1.5m-2.0m.
